Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take clothes off for deep tissue massage?

We always say “undress to your comfort level”. Regardless of your choice you will be covered at all times except for the area we are currently working on. Private areas will always be covered.

Ladies: if you prefer to keep your bra on this is okay. Keep in mind if your focus area is the upper/mid back that this will restrict access to those muscles. A suggestion for this is to wear a bra with a clip in the back, simply unclip in the back for us to have access to those muscles.

Do massage therapists change sheets between clients?

We change out our sheets for every client. Every client will have fresh, clean 100% bamboo sheets for maximum comfort.

What happens when you get a deep tissue massage?
Deep tissue massage does not always mean a massage with deep pressure.

When you get a deep tissue massage your therapist will gradually work into the deeper layers of muscle searching for adhesions, knots and areas of tension. Through the use of various techniques your therapist will attempt to release the tension so you can return to pain free movement.

When should I get a deep tissue massage?

If you experience pain or discomfort ONLY while moving in a certain way or while at rest then it is likely that some of your muscles are out of balance. If you have reached the point of pain during movement then it is past time for a deep tissue massage.
